Alejandra graduated from Arizona State University in May 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Global Affairs and Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Alejandra Is interning for the City of Los Angeles this summer 2018 as a Sustainable Developmental Goals Initiative Intern. Her role is to further the development of Los Angeles into a leading Sustainable City. During her affiliation with Arizona State University, Alejandra worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and volunteered as a Research Assistant for the Social Addictions Impulse Lab. After her graduation, she became an official Research Assistant and helped in managing the AS U Live Project for Arizona State University. Besides being an Administrative Assistant for Dr. Marek’s Coaching company (through life transitions), she also holds secretary positions in Global Networks for Sustainable Development, Toastmaster’s International and the Indian Sub-continent Club on campus. Alejandra’s international experiences include attending an International conference in New Delhi, India on Sustainability and Agriculture and living in Nepal to be involved with the NGO Nagarik-Awaz which focused on peace building and resided in Kathmandu, Nepal. Since her trip to Nepal, she is in the process of learning Nepali while being fluent in Spanish and having conversational skills in French. Alejandra has been working as a caregiver for 2 years where she has learned a variety of skill sets.
