Born and raised in Qatar, Al-Maadeed grew in an environment where Education & Arabian culture are influential. Her passion of learning new languages and exploring different traditions led her to travel to the United States and complete her higher education. With showing interest in advocacy & social studies, Al-Maadeed obtained her Maters in Social Work from Arizona State University (ASU) in 2018.
Concentrating on understanding policies & developing sustainable programs, she served as an administrative coordinator to the Global Market project in Phoenix City, which won the Knowledge Mobilization Award from the Graduate College at ASU. Al-Maadeed is interested in empowering underserved communities through cultural appreciation,
he is passionate about supporting refugees across the globe concentrating on sustainability, environment & cultural exchange. Public entrepreneurship is her focus, Al-Maadeed is committed to connect the governmental, educational, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors through community development projects. Al-Maadeed has a background in Education since she was in high school, she taught elective courses and workshops in Qatar to her peers, worked as an international academic advisor at Mesa Community College in Arizona State, & served as a graduate writing consultant at ASU while earning her bachelors & Masters degrees. Al-Maadeed is committed to raising awareness to the goals and vision of the GNSD in Qatar.
