Dear Friends,
On behalf of Nepali Team of the Global Network for Sustainable Development (GNSD) we kindly ask your financial support for our educational project in Nepal. Please CLICK HERE to support the Nepali Team (even the smallest donation will make a difference),
As you know, our mission is to involve youth in active realization of the UN Sustainable Development Goals by creating in schools worldwide Sustainability and Peace Clubs. In collaboration with the Youth Parliament of Nepal we plan to create such clubs in all schools in Nepal. These clubs will involve their members in community projects addressing sustainable development, and practices of non-violent conflict resolution.
To see the details of the project, and to meet our team, please view the 6 minutes long video posted on our homepage.
We are in the process of writing grant proposals that will allow us full realization of this project. At this moment though we need seed money that until we get the funding would allow Nepali team to create new clubs in various parts of Nepal, organize necessary training of teachers and students, and create conditions for local and international interns to get involved in the project. Observing enthusiasm of students who so far have been involved in the project, we can predict that it will have a big impact both on participants, and on the community at large.
