Bio

Sheetal holds M.A. and M. Phil in psychology from Annamalai University, Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology from Calcutta University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from National Institute of Personnel Management, Kolkata. She has  7 years of experience in planning, coordinating, and monitoring of trainings and program management. She has worked with Reach India Trust, a Capacity building organisation, situated at Kolkata, as a Training specialist. At Reach she was responsible for creating a cadre of master trainers and supporting the state based managers in implementing various programs and training on issues concerning women’s and young girls including health and livelihood.

She was associated with Child In Need Institute, Kolkata as State Training Officer for a National level program, supported by NACO (National Aids Control Organisation). She has headed the same program in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, as District Resource Person,  she has also served The Baha’i Academy, Panchgani, Maharastra, as Program Officer for nearly a year where she worked on value education by trainings of teachers and the college students in the state of Maharashtra.

She uses adult learning principle and tools of cooperative learning cooperative games in the trainings making them interactive and enjoyable. She was also actively contributing in the planning and monitoring of the programmatic activities and providing supportive supervision to the District team. She loves travelling and crafting in her leisure times. She is working on training module of Peace Clubs for Sustainability. She has responsibility of Girl Rising and NGOs partnership for Eastern and North East Zone.
